Mor Basilios Youth Association, BDK organized blood donation camp

The Mor Basilios Youth Association (MBYA) of St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox Church in Kuwait, in partnership with the Blood Donors Kerala Kuwait Chapter, successfully hosted a blood donation camp at the Adan Blood Transfusion Center on March 7, 2025. Running from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM, the event witnessed an inspiring turnout of volunteers eager to make a meaningful impact through their life-saving contributions.
Rev. Fr. Stephen Neduvakattu inaugurated the camp, underscoring the critical role of community service and the pressing need for blood donations to save lives. MBYA Secretary Kuriakos N. Y. warmly welcomed attendees, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. Parish Secretary Jinu M. Baby passionately emphasized the profound impact of collective blood donations in supporting those in need.
The event also included felicitations from MBYA trustee, Eldos P. K., camp coordinators Emil Mathew and Sabi Mathew, as well as Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) coordinators Praveen, Rajan Thottathil, and Manoj Mavalikkara, who shared their valuable insights.
General Convener Nimish Kavalam expressed heartfelt gratitude to all blood donors, volunteers, and blood bank staff for their invaluable contributions, which played a crucial role in the camp’s success.
