MoI organizes comprehensive security campaign on Sheikh Jaber Bridge
During a large-scale traffic security campaign on Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Bridge resulted in the issuance of 485 traffic violations, the arrest of wanted persons, and several vehicles and motorcycles being impounded.
The Ministry of Interior stated this campaign was part of ongoing efforts by the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector to enforce the law, curb unsafe driving behaviors, and arrest offenders.
The campaign involved the Highways Patrols Department, Jahra Governorate Traffic Department, and Security Control Department.
The campaign resulted in the detention of 16 individuals at the traffic police station, the arrest of wanted persons, and the seizure of 43 vehicles and motorcycles.
The General Traffic Department affirmed that such field campaigns would continue across various governorates, emphasizing the importance of drivers adhering to traffic laws to ensure their own safety and that of other road users.
