Britain, Germany, France pledge humanitarian aid for Gaza

Britain, Germany, and France pledged on Friday to provide substantial humanitarian assistance to Gaza through UN agencies, with delivery set to begin once a ceasefire is in place.

In a statement issued by the British Prime Minister’s Office following phone discussions among the leaders, the three nations affirmed their support for the UN Security Council’s endorsement of the Gaza ceasefire plan and its monitoring on the ground.

The statement welcomed the ceasefire agreement, the planned release of prisoners, and the resumption of aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip. It also praised the mediation efforts of US President Donald Trump and regional partners, including Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey.

The leaders emphasized that it is “crucial that all parties fully implement their obligations without delay” and expressed their readiness to support further discussions on subsequent phases of the plan.
