MC to finalize building regulation amendments and discuss key projects in upcoming session

The Municipal Council, chaired by Abdullah Al-Mahri, will hold its regular session tomorrow to finalize amendments to the agricultural and livestock area specifications in the new building regulations.
The Council will review recommendations from the Legal and Financial Committee regarding private institutes and nurseries in residential areas, considering actions to cancel licenses for 58 violating institutes across four governorates, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The session will also discuss the Kuwait Metro project, including identifying the responsible government entity and re-evaluating its routes.
Additionally, the Council will address requests from the Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Electricity, and Ministry of Interior, covering allocations for reservoirs, overhead lines, and additional parking near Al-Qurain Health Center. Lastly, the Council will review a proposal for a new clinic site in Al-Qusour.
