Kuwait’s deputy PM urges modernization, open-door policy for excellence

Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah emphasized coordinated efforts, boosted security, and decisive action to safeguard national security.

Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior, chaired a security meeting with the Assistant Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Interior on Thursday.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Youssef congratulated the new assistant agents for earning the confidence of the country’s senior political leadership. He stressed that this trust was earned through sincere efforts in maintaining homeland security.

Al-Youssef urged them to continue working hard with sincerity, honesty, dedication, and continuous effort. He emphasized the importance of following up on work plans, modernizing and developing in all fields, going into the field, and adhering to an open-door policy to achieve the political leadership’s vision and maintain institutional excellence.

Al-Yousef also highlighted the need for concerted efforts and coordination between sectors, increasing security follow-up, addressing problems firsthand, and dealing firmly with anyone attempting to compromise national security. He stressed the importance of intensifying security and traffic presence nationwide to ensure children’s safety, especially with the upcoming “Gergean” occasion.

He expressed appreciation for the tireless efforts of each sector within the Ministry of Interior, emphasizing the necessity of activating measures to address any legal deviations.
