Kuwaiti doctor extracts massive 18kg tumor in delicate surgery

Kuwaiti surgeon and consultant in obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecological oncology, Dr. Walid Al-Jassar, has successfully removed a benign ovarian tumor weighing 18 kilograms from a woman in her sixties.
Dr. Al-Jassar stated the patient had been experiencing severe abdominal swelling along with difficulty in movement and breathing. The intricate operation, according to Al-Rai daily, lasted approximately three hours, during which two tumors—one from each ovary—were surgically removed.
He confirmed the patient’s health condition stabilized post-surgery and she was discharged from the hospital two days later in good condition.
