Kuwait scorches with 48-degree high as heatwave hits

The Meteorology Department forecasts very hot weather today with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds, ranging from eight to 32 kilometers per hour, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

The department noted that the nighttime weather will be hot, with some high clouds expected.

It also forecasted a maximum temperature of 48 degrees at Kuwait International Airport, with a minimum of 32 degrees.
