GTD opens two-day window Friday-Saturday to release impounded vehicles
The General Traffic Department has announced that applications for the release of impounded vehicles will be accepted at the vehicle impound garage in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday.
The service will be available from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on both days, allowing vehicle owners to complete the necessary procedures for retrieving their impounded vehicles.
The department said applicants must settle all outstanding traffic violations registered against both the driver and the vehicle owner before the release process can be completed.
Motorists are also required to present the necessary official documents, including their Civil ID, driving licence and proof of vehicle ownership.
The Traffic Department urged concerned individuals to take advantage of the designated period and ensure that all required documents are available to avoid delays in completing the procedures.
