Kuwait graduates 189 police officers, 165 women graduates
Batches from Police Academy and Women’s Police Institute security officers sworn in to strengthen national safety and stability in Kuwait

Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in the presence of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait witnessed the graduation of a new batch of officers from the security establishment.
The ceremony marked the graduation of Batch (33) Specialized from the Police Academy and Batch (15) from the Women’s Police Institute, held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Martyrs’ Hall in the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, with senior military and security officials in attendance.

The event began with the national anthem, followed by verses from the Holy Quran, after which the graduating officers and female personnel took their official oath. A total of 189 specialized officers graduated from the Police Academy, including secondees from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Yemen, alongside 165 officers and non-commissioned officers from the Women’s Police Institute, including personnel from the Kuwaiti Army and the General Fire Force.
The graduates had completed extensive academic, security, and field training programs, qualifying them to join Kuwait’s security institutions and contribute to strengthening national safety and stability. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of top-performing graduates and the distribution of certificates.

In his address, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior emphasized that the graduation reflects the ministry’s continued commitment to preparing highly qualified national security cadres capable of carrying forward the mission of safeguarding the country.
He stressed that the current phase requires the highest levels of discipline, readiness, and vigilance, urging graduates to apply their training in real field conditions and to embody professionalism, dedication, and responsibility in serving the nation and preserving its security under all circumstances.
