Kuwait announces Eid Al-Adha public sector holiday from May 26 to 31
Kuwait’s Cabinet on Tuesday announced the Eid Al-Adha holiday in the public sector, which will run from May 26 to 31, 2026, following a decision issued during today’s Cabinet meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.
The Cabinet said work will be suspended in all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions during the holiday period on the occasion of the Day of Arafat and Eid Al-Adha for the year 1447 AH.
Authorities overseeing entities with special work requirements will determine their holiday schedules in accordance with the public interest.
