PAHW qualifies 22 alliances for three major housing projects for next phase

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has qualified 22 alliances comprising 41 Kuwaiti and international companies to move forward to the next stage of procedures for three housing projects under its “Real Estate Developer” initiative.

The move is intended to strengthen cooperation with the private sector and accelerate the development of integrated housing projects designed to meet citizens’ housing needs while supporting Kuwait’s broader urban development plans.

Ahmed Al-Ansari, Deputy Director General for Investment and Private Sector Projects, said the qualification process follows Council of Ministers directives to speed up housing project procedures and expand private-sector participation within approved legal and technical frameworks.

Al-Ansari added, the qualified alliances have met the required technical and financial criteria, allowing them to participate in the next stage of the project development process. The qualification results include six alliances for Al-Mutlaa (M-3) and eight alliances for East Saad Al-Abdullah. Another eight alliances were qualified for West Saad Al-Abdullah and the service axis in Jaber Al-Ahmad City.

The projects form part of Kuwait’s efforts to develop large-scale, integrated residential communities through greater private-sector involvement, with the goal of increasing the pace of housing delivery and supporting long-term urban development.
