H.H. the Amir, H.H. the Crown Prince extend condolences to Nepal President over deadly floods, landslides

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, sent separate cables of condolences to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel following the deadly floods and landslides in northern Nepal.

The Kuwaiti leaders expressed their deep condolences and sincere sympathy to the victims and their families, as the natural disasters resulted in numerous deaths, injuries and missing persons, while also causing significant damage to public facilities and private property.

The Amir wished the injured a speedy recovery and expressed hope that those reported missing would be found and safely returned to their families. He also expressed confidence that the Nepalese authorities would succeed in containing the disaster’s effects and overcoming its consequences.

The Crown Prince similarly conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, wishing the injured a swift recovery and hoping for the safe return of those still missing.
