Kuwait Airways to Resume Flights to 17 Global Destinations from Sunday
Kuwait Airways Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said flights will resume to 17 destinations including London, Istanbul, Lahore, Dhaka, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Manila, Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah, Colombo, Guangzhou, Beirut, and Damascus.

Kuwait Airways announced on Thursday the resumption of 17 destinations from Kuwait International Airport Terminal (T4) as of Sunday, April 26. In a statement to KUNA, the airline’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said that the destinations include London, Istanbul, Lahore, Dhaka, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Manila, Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah, Colombo, Guangzhou, Beirut, in addition to Damascus.
Al-Shatti added that flights to London, Riyadh, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, and Manila will run three times per week for each destination, noting that flights to Cairo will operate once a day, Reports Kuna.
He explained that flights to Jeddah and Dhaka will operate four times per week for each destination, while Beirut, Damascus, and Lahore will run two weekly flights each. Istanbul, Guangzhou, and Colombo will each have one flight a week.
Al-Shatti noted that the resumption of Kuwait Airways destinations from Kuwait International Airport (T4) comes as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and upgrade the level of services provided to passengers.
He added that Kuwait Airways places great importance on passenger experience, ensuring the provision of comfort and integrated services at Terminal (T4). He reiterated company’s commitment to delivering a smooth and distinguished travel experience that meets customers’ expectations and strengthens their confidence in its services.
Al-Shatti expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Head of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah for his outstanding efforts and continuous support for the civil aviation sector.
He praised cooperation and coordination that contributed to addressing current challenges and maintaining air service continuity.
Earlier today, Sheikh Humoud Al-Sabah announced to KUNA the reopening of Kuwait International Airport’s airspace starting Thursday, following a temporary and precautionary suspension of flight operations since February 28 due to regional developments.
