Kuwait Airways temporarily halts agent cargo deliveries until September 25
Kuwait Airways’ cargo division has temporarily stopped accepting most cargo shipments delivered by agents from September 9 until September 25, 2026, because of a backlog and operational congestion at the cargo facility.
Under an official circular sent to airlines working with the cargo sector, agents have been told not to deliver shipments to the cargo building during this period. The shipments will only be accepted after September 25, while arrangements to move them will begin once the existing backlog has been cleared.
However, the restriction does not apply to special categories of shipments or pure express mail. These shipments will continue to be accepted, processed and transported for export as normal. RFS shipments will also continue to be accepted without any change.
