MOI reviews security readiness, coordination across departments

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib chaired a meeting of the ministry’s assistant undersecretaries and heads of security sectors to review the progress of work and strengthen coordination and integration across its various departments.
The meeting addressed a range of issues related to security operations, with officials reviewing measures to improve performance, enhance operational efficiency and maintain a high level of readiness in carrying out assigned security duties. Al-Wahib emphasized the importance of sustained coordination and cooperation among the ministry’s sectors, stressing the need for a rapid response to emerging developments and a unified approach to security work.
He said continued efforts to strengthen the ministry’s work systems and improve security performance were essential to achieving its objectives and safeguarding the security and safety of citizens and residents. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on maintaining operational readiness, developing work mechanisms and strengthening cooperation among the ministry’s various sectors.
