Interior Ministry issues weather warning for drivers and seafarers

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has issued a weather advisory, urging drivers and seafarers to exercise caution amid deteriorating weather conditions across the country.
According to reports by Q8-Press, the MOI stressed the importance of safety precautions to prevent accidents and ensure public well-being. Drivers are advised to check their tires, keep windshields clear, reduce speed, maintain a safe following distance, and avoid using mobile phones while driving. They are also urged to steer clear of flooded roads to minimize risks.
Similarly, seafarers are encouraged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions while at sea. The MOI reminded citizens and residents that the emergency hotline 112 is available for humanitarian, traffic, or security assistance, while seafarers can contact the Coast Guard at 1880888 in case of emergencies.
