“Foreign Minister” confirms appointment of Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon
Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya has confirmed what was reported by Al-Qabas, announcing that “the nomination of Kuwait’s Ambassador to Lebanon will be finalized soon.
Al-Yahya, speaking in a press statement on the sidelines of the Kuwait Fund for Development’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Engineers Training Program, stated that his visit to Lebanon will take place very soon, pointing out that arrangements are underway to complete it.
Regarding Kuwait’s steadfast support for the Syrian people, Al-Yahya, reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to assisting them during these challenging times. He also noted that the Kuwaiti embassy in Damascus will reopen soon, with a Chargé d’Affaires being appointed initially, followed by the appointment of an ambassador. This step reflects Kuwait’s dedication to strengthening the bonds of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly nations.
Al-Yahya, expressed his delight at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the program’s launch, describing it as a continuing beacon for empowering young national talents and fostering their development.
Importantly, Al-Yahya emphasized that the impact of this program has resonated in every home across Kuwait, with the number of engineers surpassing 1,000. This achievement underscores the significant contribution of such programs to human development efforts, enhancing the efficiency and motivation of the Kuwaiti workforce.
Al-Yahya concluded that the Kuwait Fund has a history spanning over 63 years, with one of its most notable features being the accumulation of technical and administrative expertise that continues to serve the country.
