Dr Al-Mashaan stresses on faster execution of infrastructure projects

Minister of Public Works, Dr Noura Al-Mashaan, said the ministry continues to implement the development plans to improve infrastructure efficiency and meet the needs of citizens and residents. She was speaking during an inspection tour of several project sites in the Capital Governorate.
Dr Al-Mashaan stressed the importance of accelerating work progress while strictly adhering to approved timelines, and ensuring the application of the highest standards of quality and safety across all projects.
She emphasized that the current stage requires intensified coordination between all concerned parties to ensure projects are completed according to advanced technical specifications, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to delivering sustainable services that enhance quality of life.
The minister also called for unified team efforts and continued work to achieve Kuwait’s broader development goals in line with the state’s vision for the modernization of infrastructure and urban development.
Her field inspection tour is part of a direct follow-up approach adopted by the ministry to enhance performance efficiency at project sites, ensure quality execution, and address obstacles promptly as they arise.
During the visit, she also reviewed project completion rates and assessed key challenges facing implementation teams on the ground.
