Dr Al-Huwailah restructures temporary board of Kuwait Red Crescent Society

Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, has issued a decision, published in the official gazette “Kuwait Alyawm,” to restructure the temporary board of directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society for a renewable one-year term.
The reconstituted council is headed by Khaled Mohammed Suleiman Al-Mughmas, with Dr. Nasser Faisal Al-Tanak, Youssef Abdullah Al-Zaben, Fahd Ahmed Al-Mandil, Saud Abdul Rahman Al-Mukhaizeem, Saud Abdullah Fayez Al-Dubos, and Dr. Latifa Khaled Jassim Al-Mir as members, reports Al-Rai daily.
The resolution specifies that the temporary board will assume all the powers and authorities outlined for the board of directors under Law No. 24 of 1962, as well as those stated in the association’s bylaws. It will also be responsible for completing all ongoing tasks set forth in Resolution No. 197 of 2025.
This decision reflects the ministry’s commitment to ensuring continuity, effective governance, and operational efficiency within the Kuwait Red Crescent Society while maintaining adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks.
The one-year renewable term allows the board to implement strategic initiatives, oversee humanitarian projects, and provide essential services to communities, aligning with the society’s mission to support health, emergency, and social programs across Kuwait.
