CID men arrest suspect in Abdullah Al-Mubarak shooting case

Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested a Kuwaiti citizen accused of firing shots at his friend’s vehicle following a personal dispute.
According to security sources, the incident happened in Abdullah Al-Mubarak and a Kuwaiti citizen reported that he was involved in a disagreement with his friend. The suspect later contacted the man and said he wanted to discuss and resolve the dispute.
When the complainant arrived at the suspect’s residence, the suspect reportedly appeared carrying a gun and fired three shots at the vehicle. The bullets struck the driver’s side door and shattered the windshield, but the latter escaped without being injured.
Following the report, the Public Prosecutor ordered the forensic evidence team to examine the vehicle and collect evidence. The CID men were assigned to investigate the incident.
Investigations led to the identification and arrest of the suspect, who is currently being questioned and is undergoing legal procedures before being referred to the relevant authorities.
