‘Arabian Breeze’ focuses on combat readiness, marine mines clearance

The joint “Arabian Breeze 2025” exercise kicked off Saturday, involving explosive ordnance disposal and decontamination divers from both the Kuwaiti Naval Forces’ Divers Battalion and the French Naval Forces. The exercise will run until May 8.
This exercise, according to sources, is part of ongoing military cooperation and serves as a platform for the exchange of operational expertise between Kuwait and France.
It focuses on enhancing combat readiness, sharing knowledge, and training with the latest technologies used in marine surveying and clearing vital marine anchorages of explosive naval mines.
The “Arabian Breeze” exercise is also an integral part of the strategic training plan of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, aimed at improving the professional performance of its personnel.
Additionally, it seeks to strengthen cooperation with allied and friendly forces in line with security and defense partnerships.
