Any deal with Iran will not involve money, says Trump

US President Donald Trump stressed on Friday that his country would not pay money to Iran under any potential agreement between the two countries, amid growing optimism about the imminent signing of an agreement between the two sides.

This came during an event organized by the conservative American organization “Turning Point” in Phoenix, Arizona, in the southwestern United States, coinciding with intensified diplomatic efforts mediated by Pakistan.

In his speech, Trump reiterated that “the naval blockade on Iran will remain in full force and effect until our transaction is 100 percent complete,” noting earlier that the blockade would end when an agreement is reached, reports Al-Raiaily.

He added: “No money will be exchanged in any form or manner, and most importantly, it was agreed that Iran will never possess a nuclear weapon.”

Regarding Lebanon, Trump clarified again that the agreement in Lebanon is separate from the potential agreement with Iran.
