Al-Majali hails strong, historic Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations

The ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Kuwait emphasized the strong bond between the two nations and praised Kuwaiti Ramadan customs that unite society.

  • Engineer Faisal Al-Attal, President of the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers, praised the society’s cooperation with the Jordanian Engineers Union in providing aid to Gaza Strip residents, highlighting the depth of Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations.

  • Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, head of the Jordanian Syndicate, explained they provide 17,000 meals to Palestinians in Gaza and cooperate with various engineering associations to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed by Israeli occupation.

The ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Kuwait, Sinan Rakan Muhammad Al-Majali, commended the strong and historic Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations, emphasizing the close bond between the people of the two brotherly nations. He reiterated that the Jordanian embassy in Kuwait welcomes all Jordanians.

This was stated in a speech delivered by Al-Majali at a Ramadan ghabqa hosted by the Jordanian Engineers Association, Kuwait Branch, the evening before last at the Holiday Inn Salmiya Hotel.

The event was attended by the President of the Engineers Association, Engineer Faisal Al-Attal, and the Head of the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate, Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi.

Al-Majali welcomed the attendees, praising the Kuwaiti Ramadan customs that strengthen relations among society members. He added, “We partake in these customs with our Kuwaiti brothers, which symbolize blessings that enhance relations between our peoples,” while also wishing Kuwait continuous progress and prosperity.

He urged the audience to recite Al-Fateha for the souls of the Gaza martyrs who fell victim to the bullets of the Israeli occupation.

President of the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers, Engineer Faisal Al-Attal, praised the society’s cooperation with the Jordanian Engineers Union in providing aid to Gaza Strip residents, highlighting the depth of Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations.

In turn, the head of the Jordanian Syndicate, Engineer Ahmed Samara Al-Zoubi, reviewed the efforts made by the union in Gaza Strip. He noted that in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers, the Federation of Arab Engineers, and the International Federation of Engineers, they provided seven water desalination plants in the Strip. Al-Zoubi also mentioned that they supplied Al-Najah Hospital in Gaza with solar-powered devices, ensuring the continuity of its operations.

He explained that they are providing 17,000 meals to Palestinians in Gaza Strip, revealing cooperation with the Society of Engineers and the Arab and international engineers’ unions to rebuild the infrastructure there, which was destroyed by the Israeli occupation. This effort aims to prevent displacement and facilitate the return of Palestinians to their homes.

He also praised the level of professionalism among Jordanian engineers working in Kuwait, highlighting their high level of expertise.
