Ahmadi Municipality seizes 11 mobile groceries from Mina Abdullah for license violations

As part of ongoing efforts to enforce municipal regulations and maintain public order, inspection teams from the Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department of the Ahmadi Governorate Municipality carried out a series of field visits in the Mina Abdullah area.

These inspections, according to Al-Rai daily, led to the removal of 11 mobile groceries that were found in violation of licensing terms.

Saad Al-Kharinej, Director of the Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department, confirmed that the vehicles were removed because they did not abide by the specific locations allocated to them in their licensing documents.

He explained that this violation prompted the municipality to take immediate action, relocating the vehicles to the Municipality’s vehicles impounding garage in Mina Abdullah.

Al-Kharinej emphasized the department’s commitment to applying municipal laws firmly and fairly, particularly those related to the proper use of public spaces.

He also called on owners of mobile groceries and carts to strictly adhere to the conditions set forth in their licenses to avoid penalties, including removal and impoundment.

The campaign is part of the municipality’s broader initiative to regulate street occupancy, reduce visual clutter, and ensure that public areas remain clean, organized, and used appropriately.
