ITL World wins Kuwait’s Leading Travel Management Company title for fifth consecutive year

ITL World has been named ‘Kuwait’s Leading Travel Management Company’ at the World Travel Awards 2026, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has received the prestigious recognition.

The latest award extends ITL World’s winning streak and highlights its continued presence in Kuwait’s travel management sector, where the company has developed longstanding relationships with corporate and individual travellers.

The recognition comes as the global travel industry continues to evolve amid changing traveller expectations, rapid technological developments and an increasingly complex international business environment.

For ITL World, the fifth consecutive title represents continued recognition of its efforts to adapt its services while focusing on the changing requirements of its clients and business partners.

The World Travel Awards is one of the travel industry’s recognised international award platforms, honouring organisations and professionals across the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. The 2026 ceremony in the UAE brought together representatives from the regional and international travel and tourism industry.

ITL Kuwait team receiving the award

Dr Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman and Managing Director of ITL World, said the five consecutive wins represented a significant milestone for the company.

“Five consecutive wins is an extraordinary milestone, and one that we do not take for granted,” he said. “An award can recognise a moment, but five years of recognition reflects consistency, trust and the ability to keep evolving.”

Ahmed said the achievement reflected the contribution of ITL World’s employees, clients and partners, adding that the company remained focused on its future growth.

The company said its approach to travel management has evolved beyond simply arranging journeys. Its services increasingly focus on understanding business requirements, anticipating client needs, improving efficiency and using technology to create a more connected travel experience.

Rafeeq Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer of ITL World, said the travel landscape had changed considerably and that the company had continued to adapt alongside it.

“Our focus has never been on standing still after achieving success,” Mohammed said. “It has been about asking what comes next, what our clients will need tomorrow and how we can deliver it better.”

He said the latest World Travel Award would provide further momentum for the company to invest in technology, talent, partnerships and new ways of delivering value to customers.

In Kuwait, ITL World attributed its continued recognition to its team’s local market knowledge and understanding of client requirements, which have supported long-term relationships across both corporate and leisure travel.

Najida Abdulla Director of ITL World Kuwait

Najida Abdulla, Director of ITL World Kuwait, said the five consecutive titles reflected sustained effort rather than a single initiative or successful year.

“Five consecutive titles are not achieved through one initiative or one successful year,” she said. “They are built through several customer interactions, countless journeys and a team that remains committed to getting things right every day.”

Abdulla said the recognition reflected the collective efforts of the company’s team and its continued focus on listening to clients and improving its services.

Expanding travel management services

ITL World operates across the GCC and has more than three decades of experience in travel management. The company serves global, regional and local organisations, including diplomatic missions, and provides services covering business travel, incentives, educational travel, leisure travel and event management.

Its portfolio also includes meetings, incentives, conferences and events, educational travel, inbound travel and destination management services, as well as travel technology platforms.

The company operates several specialist brands, including ITL World Elite, which focuses on bespoke travel for high-net-worth individuals and royalty; MiceMinds, covering meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions; Arabian Experience, a destination management company; and EduVoyage, focused on education and travel.

ITL World also operates the Tripmakers Partner Network, providing travel technology and destination management services in Thailand.

The company said its strategic partnership with global travel management group Corporate Travel Management (CTM) further supports its relationships and operations across the GCC.
