Bahrain’s Defense Force said its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of incoming aerial threats on Tuesday, as security units remained on heightened readiness to protect the Kingdom.
The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said all military units and defense systems are operating at the highest levels of preparedness, with forces maintaining a high state of alert.
Authorities urged citizens and residents to remain vigilant and avoid approaching any unfamiliar or suspicious objects that may result from intercepted threats or falling debris.
The Royal Field Engineering Unit has been placed on standby to safely handle any remnants and ensure public safety, the statement added.
The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions and increased security measures across Gulf countries as governments monitor developments and strengthen defensive capabilities.
