Worker injured in ventilation shaft fall
Five people injured in house fire in Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City
Firefighters responded to a distress call today (Tuesday) early morning to a report of a worker who fell from a height into a ventilation shaft at a residential house in the Bayan area.
The worker sustained injuries as a result of the fall and was transferred by emergency medical services to a medical facility for necessary treatment.
In a separate incident, firefighting teams from the Al-Kout and Arifjan stations managed to bring a house fire under control in Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City on Monday.
The blaze left five people injured, including two cases reported to be in critical condition, before emergency crews succeeded in containing the fire and securing the site.
