Kuwait leadership congratulates Amir of Qatar marking 13 years in power
His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has sent a congratulatory cable to His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, marking the 13th anniversary of his assumption of power.
In his message, the Kuwaiti Amir extended sincere congratulations and praised the significant developmental and civilizational progress achieved by Qatar under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The Amir noted that these achievements have strengthened Qatar’s standing on the regional and international stage.
His Highness also expressed pride in the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties between Kuwait and Qatar, reaffirming the importance of continued cooperation and joint efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations across all sectors.
The Kuwaiti Amir wished the Qatari leader continued good health and well-being, and expressed hopes for further progress, development, and prosperity for the Qatari people under his wise leadership.
Separately, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent a congratulatory cable to the Amir of Qatar, conveying his sincere congratulations and best wishes for continued success and good health.
He reiterated hopes for sustained development and prosperity for Qatar and its people under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah also sent a similar congratulatory message, joining Kuwait’s leadership in marking the occasion and extending goodwill to the Qatari leadership.
The exchange of messages underscores the strong and longstanding ties between Kuwait and Qatar, reflecting mutual respect and continued commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
