Recent official government statistics provide insight into Kuwait’s population dynamics as of the end of 2023. The total population stood at 4,859,595, with a significant portion consisting of expatriates, totaling 3,313,387.
Kuwaiti nationals accounted for 32% of the total population, as per data from the Public Authority for Civil Information. Notably, the expatriate community comprises various nationalities, with Indians and Egyptians being the most prominent, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Indians: Indians constituted the largest expatriate group, comprising 21% of the total population and 30% of all expatriates.
