A domestic dispute that led to a shooting in Louisiana left eight children dead at different homes on Sunday before the shooter was stopped dead after a chase by officers, according to state police.
“The victims ranged in age from 1 to about 14 years old,” according to Shreveport Police Department spokesperson Chris Bordelon. A total of 10 people were shot, including two adults.
“This is an extensive scene unlike anything most of us have ever seen,” Bordelon said. Meanwhile, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux said, “This is a tragic situation, maybe the worst tragic situation we’ve ever had in Shreveport.” “So, right now we’re going to process the information and it’s in very good hands,” he added.
