In a briefing on the latest developments amid ongoing Iranian attacks on Kuwait, the Ministry’s spokesperson and Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media, Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib, said that obtaining information from official media channels contributes to enhancing public awareness and supporting national efforts.

He revealed that sirens had been activated four times since dawn today, bringing the total number of activations since the start of the aggression to 171.

Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams had responded to nine reports related to falling debris resulting from defensive interception operations, raising the total number of such reports handled since the beginning of the aggression to 678, he added.

Brigadier Bouslaib also presented a visual briefing on how special forces dealt with reports involving falling debris or objects both inside and outside designated threat zones.

He stressed that the Ministry affirms the resilience and vigilance of the armed forces in confronting all threats, and their continued performance of national duties with efficiency and competence in defense of the country’s security and sovereignty.

He also praised the steadfastness of citizens and residents, highlighting their cohesion and strong confidence in the capabilities of the armed forces and security agencies, reflecting the deeply rooted values of Kuwaiti society in facing challenges.
