Authorities intensify monitoring to secure supply chains and maintain availability of essential goods
Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Al-Boodai affirmed that the government will not hesitate to take proactive decisions to maintain market stability and ensure the continuous availability of essential commodities.
He stressed that the ministry is closely monitoring supply chains and market conditions, adding that all necessary measures will be taken to prevent shortages and price fluctuations, particularly in light of regional developments.
Al-Boodai highlighted that coordination is ongoing with relevant authorities to secure strategic reserves and guarantee the steady flow of basic goods in local markets. He reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting consumers and maintaining economic stability.
The minister further noted that intensified inspection campaigns and regulatory measures are being implemented to monitor prices, ensure compliance, and safeguard the availability of key food and consumer items.
