Germany Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

Kuwait and its people are celebrating the sixty-fifth National Day, and the thirty-fifth anniversary of Liberation Day. On this distinguished occasion, we extend our warmest and most sincere congratulations to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness the Crown Prince, and His Highness the Prime Minister as well as the people of Kuwait.

Thirty-five years ago, Kuwait was liberated from occupation through the efforts of a broad international coalition—a historic moment that now lies more than a generation behind us. Since then, Kuwait has demonstrated remarkable resilience, steadily rebuilding and advancing with confidence toward the future.

We wish the State of Kuwait and its people continued peace, prosperity, and success, and we wish its leadership every success in guiding the country toward a bright and flourishing future.
