Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali stated on Friday that His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince valued this thoughtful initiative, which embodies the deep historical fraternal relations between the two nations.
He noted that this gesture reinforces the unity of the “Gulf family” and the enduring solidarity among its leaders and peoples, rooted in decades of shared support and mutual assistance.
Their Highnesses wished the UAE and its people continued prosperity, progress, and wellbeing under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
The UAE President had earlier called on the Emirati community and state institutions to dedicate a week to celebrating the longstanding Emirati–Kuwaiti brotherhood.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said, “Our relations with Kuwait are built on brotherhood, affection, and kinship. Kuwait supported us before and after the union, extending a sincere hand of giving and assistance. Their unwavering support continues to this day. Today we invite the UAE community to celebrate decades of this brotherhood beginning January 29.”
He added, “Honoring Kuwait—its leadership and its generous people—is our duty. May God protect Kuwait, its Amir, and its people, and preserve its glory and dignity.”
For his part, the UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid affirmed, “We are bound to Kuwait by unbreakable ties — brotherhood that time cannot alter and affection that grows deeper with each passing day.”
He instructed all federal authorities to implement the President’s directives and “demonstrate the true extent of the love that unites the two brotherly peoples.”
He also shared an image on his “X” platform featuring His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, captioned “Kuwait and the Emirates… brothers forever.”
Similarly, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that Kuwait’s place in the hearts of Emiratis is “deeply rooted,” adding, “Celebrating our sister Kuwait for seven days is an opportunity to express the love that unites the seven emirates as one spirit.”
He said he was delighted to join the community in dedicated days honoring Kuwait, its leadership, and its people.
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed also affirmed on his “X” platform, “In response to the directives of His Highness the President to celebrate the brotherly relations with beloved Kuwait—its leadership and its people—we instruct the Dubai government to participate fully in these celebrations.
“Kuwait is a part of us, and we are a part of it. The UAE community will never forget Kuwait’s historic stances, and our brotherhood will remain firmly rooted forever.”
