CAPT approves 87.28 million dinars contract for Phase Two of Subbiya power station upgrades
The Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders has given its approval to award the tender for delivering high-efficiency, round-the-clock engineering services for the open-cycle gas turbines at the Subbiya Power Generation and Water Distillation Station as part of its second phase.
The contract, valued at 87.28 million Kuwaiti dinars, was granted to the lowest bidder at the request of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
In its deliberations, the agency considered a Ministry of Finance letter verifying the financial allocation attached to the Ministry of Electricity’s award recommendation.
Now that the tender has been approved, the Ministry of Electricity will proceed with submitting the complete documentation to the State Audit Bureau for oversight.
