Kuwait, Philippines explore deeper ties in fish farming and aquaculture

Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, Eng. Salem Al-Hai, met with the Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Jose Almodovar, to discuss strengthening agricultural cooperation, particularly in fish farming.

The talks focused on benefiting from Philippine expertise in aquaculture, addressing existing challenges in the sector, and exploring practical solutions to support its growth in Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

Both sides emphasized that advancing aquaculture would play a key role in bolstering the country’s food security and developing its marine resources.
