Delivery motorbikes ‘ordered off the road’ from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

The General Traffic Department affiliated to the Ministry of Interior said Saturday that delivery motorbikes will be banned on roads around the country from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm every day during the period between June 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026.
The step is part of a nation-wide ban on outdoor work during the same period in a bid to protect workers from extreme heat during the summer’s hottest period.
The traffic department warned that traffic citations will be issued against violators of the law.
