The Public Authority for Manpower announced that the Department for Regulating the Recruitment of Domestic Workers has recorded 598 complaints filed by both employers and domestic workers, according to the latest official statistics.
In its statement, the authority noted that 31 previously suspended licenses were reinstated after violations were addressed, while 25 licenses remain suspended. Additionally, the department issued 7 new professional licenses, renewed 19, and cancelled one license application, reports Al-Anba daily.
As of now, the total number of licensed domestic worker recruitment offices in Kuwait stands at 488.
