Kuwait, Austria approve 90-day visa-free entry for diplomatic, special passport holders

Decree No. 64/2025 has been issued, ratifying an agreement between the Government of the State of Kuwait and the Federal Government of Austria on mutual visa exemption for certain passport holders.

Under the agreement, Kuwaiti citizens holding valid diplomatic or special biometric passports, as well as Austrian nationals holding valid diplomatic or service biometric passports, are permitted to enter and exit the territory of the other country without requiring an entry visa, according to Al-Rai daily.

The visa-free stay is limited to a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period, starting from the date of first entry.
