
Saudi Airlines (Saudia) announced on Friday its pilot Humoud Al-Kalthami was killed in an incident that occurred on Thursday at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which also caused damage to one of the airline’s aircraft.
In a statement, Saudia said that the damaged aircraft was on the ground and carrying no passengers at the time of the incident.
Emergency response procedures were activated in coordination with relevant authorities to monitor the situation of those affected and provide necessary care and support to them and their families.
However, it confirmed that its flights and operations at King Khalid International Airport returned to normal. – Kuna
