Kuwait’s Ali Askar dominates speed, distance in skydiving
Ali Askar won gold medals in speed and distance at the 2024 FAI World Skydiving Championships in North Carolina and secured third place overall among 37 competitors.

Kuwaiti champion Ali Askar claimed first place and gold medals in both the speed and distance categories at the 2024 FAI World Skydiving Championships, in North Carolina, USA. He concluded his participation by securing third place overall among 37 competitors, according to Al Rai newspaper.
Askar also set three new records for the Asian continent in the name of Kuwait across all competing categories: speed, distance, and time.
