Kuwait Cultural Office in Bahrain announces revised stipends for students
The Kuwaiti Cultural Office in Bahrain has announced revised financial stipends for Kuwaiti students studying in Bahrain.
• The new stipends are effective from October and are based on Ministerial Decision No. 303 of 2024.
• The announcement provides a detailed breakdown of the revised allowances, including monthly stipends, allowances for equipment, books, clothing, and clinical training (for medical students).
The Kuwaiti Cultural Office in the Kingdom of Bahrain has released a detailed statement outlining the revised financial stipends for Kuwaiti students sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education to study in Bahrain.
Effective from October, the new allowances are in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. 303 of 2024, issued in late September.
According to the latest circular obtained by Al-Jarida, the revised stipends in Bahraini Dinars are as follows:
- Monthly Stipend (off-campus): 1,219 Bahraini Dinars
- Monthly Stipend (on-campus): 1,110 Bahraini Dinars
- Allowance for Practical Studies Equipment: 594 Bahraini Dinars
- Allowance for Practical Studies Books: 495 Bahraini Dinars
- Allowance for Theoretical Studies Books: 247 Bahraini Dinars
- Clothing Allowance: 247 Bahraini Dinars
- Clinical Allowance (for medical students during clinical rotations): 350 Bahraini Dinars
- Annual Travel Allowance: 77 Bahraini Dinars
