2,000 teachers appointed to supervise high school exams

The supervisors for the twelfth-grade, starting May 29, will oversee exams in high school committees covering general, religious studies, and special education.

This week, the Ministry of Education is establishing examination committees for the twelfth grade, slated to commence on May 29, marking the end of the 2023/2024 academic year.

An educational source disclosed to Al-Rai newspaper that approximately 2,000 male and female teachers have been designated to oversee the proceedings across high school committees encompassing general, religious education, and special education schools.

The source stated, “The examination committee will consist of ten observers, along with the president and several other administrative personnel,” emphasizing that “these observers will be rotated into committees other than their original assignments, both within and outside their educational regions. Additionally, anyone with a familial relationship to the students is prohibited from participating in the committee for first and second classes.”

Sources mentioned that the public education sector “would release a bulletin advising school principals to prioritize conducting tests in theaters and physical education halls, enabling easier group monitoring of male and female students.”
