Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Municipality conduct joint inspection at ‘Mubarakiya Market’

At the Mubarakiya Market, a joint inspection tour was hosted today, Thursday, 26 December, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Kuwait Municipality.

The tour aimed to enhance consumer protection and combat commercial fraud, coinciding with the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup Championship.

Importantly, the tour witnessed presence of: Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Al-Ajeel; Minister of Municipality and Housing, Abdullatif Al-Mishari; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Ziad Al-Najem and; Director of Kuwait Municipality, Manal Al-Asfour.

The campaign focused on ensuring that commercial activities are conducted in accordance to regulations and laws, while also creating a safe environment free of commercial fraud for consumers and tournament visitors. It reflects Kuwait’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity within local markets.
