Kuwait, Saudi Arabia review deep-rooted, historic relations

The two sides also discussed means to develop ties on all levels for the benefit of both brotherly peoples.

  • The Cabinet strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a commercial complex in Moscow and urged the international community to unite against such acts targeting civilians.

The Cabinet held its weekly session on Monday at Bayan Palace, chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

Following the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sharida Al-Maousherji stated that the Cabinet was briefed on the outcomes of His Highness the Prime Minister’s official visit to Saudi Arabia last Thursday.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad and Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom, reviewed the deep-rooted and historic relations between the two countries and discussed means to develop them on all levels for the benefit of both brotherly peoples.

The Cabinet strongly condemned all actions that undermine national unity, particularly those carried out through social media platforms. It denounced any acts that contribute to dividing Kuwaiti society and emphasized its firm rejection of such behavior, affirming that everyone is subject to the law.

The Cabinet also commended the Interior Ministry for its decisive role in addressing acts of bigotry by apprehending those responsible and ensuring they are brought to justice.

On the international front, the Cabinet strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a commercial complex in the Russian capital, Moscow, which resulted in numerous casualties. Emphasizing its condemnation of this terrorist act and its rejection of violence in all forms, the State of Kuwait also urged the international community to unite against terrorist acts targeting civilians.
