20 individuals lose Kuwaiti citizenship after acquiring foreign nationality
Kuwait has revoked the nationality of 20 persons according to Decision No. (12/66) of 2026, issued by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Nationality Investigation, and published in the Official Gazette, Kuwait Alyawm under Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 on the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.
Article 11 of the law stipulates that a Kuwaiti citizen loses Kuwaiti nationality if they voluntarily acquire a foreign nationality.
