Kuwait takes legal action against media threats to national unity

The Ministry of Interior has begun taking legal measures against individuals who undermine national unity through various media and social media platforms.

The General Administration of Security Relations and Media announced that the ministry has initiated legal actions against those who have made derogatory statements insulting tribes and various societal groups.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that it will not tolerate verbal or physical abuse, incitement of sectarian or tribal conflicts, promotion of hatred or discrimination, or any form of incitement through social media or other platforms. The ministry emphasized its firm stance and commitment to dealing with individuals who engage in such behavior, asserting the principle that everyone is subject to the law.
