Kuwait Drug Control seizes meth, hashish, Lyrica and weapons in 10 cases

Personnel from the Directorate-General for Drug Control has arrested 13 people, including a woman, in 10 separate drug cases and seized large quantities of narcotics, psychotropic substances, weapons, ammunition and cash.
The arrests were made by the local anti-narcotics department, the international anti-narcotics department and the operations department in cases involving the possession of narcotics and psychotropic substances for trafficking and personal use.
The seizures included 4 kilograms and 480 grams of methamphetamine, 4 kilograms and 872 grams of hashish, 3 grams of cocaine, 14,500 Lyrica capsules, 100 Captagon tablets and 590 tablets of other psychotropic substances.
Authorities also seized 99 A4-sized sheets impregnated with a chemical substance, 10 chemical ampoules, 280 milliliters of cannabis oil and 40 pieces of candy containing hashish.
The operation also resulted in the seizure of three shotguns and a large quantity of ammunition, along with 10 sensitive scales and quantities of empty bags prepared for filling. A total of 12,155 dinars in cash was also seized.
The suspects and all seized items were referred to the competent authority for the necessary legal action.
