Thailand Introduces TDAC to streamline immigration process

Effective May 1, 2025, all travelers entering Thailand will need to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) to ensure a faster, easier, and more secure immigration process.
According to the Thailand Immigration Bureau this a significant change in its entry procedures. This new system is set to replace the traditional paper arrival card, offering a more streamlined process for all non-Thai nationals entering the country via air, land, or sea.
What you need to know: Mandatory Requirement: All non-Thai nationals must complete the TDAC online at least 3 days prior to their arrival in Thailand.
No Visa Changes: The introduction of the TDAC does not impact visa rules or the Visa Exemption Scheme, which remain unchanged. It is important to note that the TDAC is not a visa.
Simplified Process: By completing the TDAC online, travelers can expect a quicker and more efficient entry experience, without the need to fill out traditional paper forms upon arrival.
To submit TDAC, visit the official immigration website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
