Sabah Al-Salem security and traffic campaign targets violators, lawbreakers

The Ministry of Interior, through its Traffic and Operations Sector and Private Security Sector, executed a thorough security and traffic campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area on Friday. This operation is part of the ongoing efforts to maintain law and order, targeting violators and outlaws.

The campaign was carried out under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, emphasizing the commitment to public safety and upholding the rule of law.

The Security Media Department announced in a press statement on Saturday that the security and traffic campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area led to the issuance of 2,293 traffic violations. Additionally, six individuals with outstanding arrest warrants were apprehended, eight violators of residency and labor laws were detained, and one person was arrested for lacking proper identification.

Furthermore, the Security Department also reported that six cases of absence were recorded during the campaign. One individual was arrested for not having a driving license, while another was referred to juvenile investigations.

Additionally, 17 vehicles and motorcycles involved in criminal cases were seized, 19 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for traffic violations, and one person was referred to the traffic police for further action.

The Ministry confirmed that security and traffic campaigns will continue across the country to apprehend violators and enforce the law. It urged the public to cooperate with security forces and report any violations or misconduct by calling the Emergency Number (112).
